The Monash Queer Leaders Scholarship is awarded each year to a student who identifies as LGBTIQA+ in recognition of their academic success and community leadership. This scholarship is aimed at acknowledging the student’s efforts in advancing Monash’s inclusive culture and supporting them in their studies.

Eligibility

Applicants must: An Australian citizen; A New Zealand citizen; Australian permanent resident; Australian humanitarian visa holder; Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree (coursework) at a Monash campus in Australia.; Achieve a minimum Weighted Average Mark of 70.; Identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or gender diverse, intersex, queer or questioning, asexual or aromantic, plus other related identities (LGBTIQA+).

Amount $6,000

The scholarship is valued at $4,000 for 1 year.
