Structure

The course develops professional expertise through studies in human biology, the digital technology underpinning radiography and medical imaging, radiographic and medical imaging science with extended periods of evidence based professional practice and research.

Entry requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years of age 31 March 2023, to meet the mandatory requirements for clinical Placement s.
• All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Most Monash faculties generally use your most recent studies for admission however other guidelines may apply where your prior qualification may be considered.

Recognition

Accredited by Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR); Graduates register as radiographers with the Medical Radiation Practitioners Board of Victoria

Study Pathways

University: Two single units at an Australian higher education institution satisfy minimum entry requirements if the student has not undertaken a formal program of study at or above VCE Yr 12 (or equivalent), but more units may be useful for selection, especially in areas of study related to the course in which admission is being sought. Applicants should have at least a distinction (70%) average in their studies. Studies must have been completed within seven years of intended commencement.
