Eligibility
Applicants must be commencing or continuing students enrolled in a course at Macquarie University. Continuing students must have maintained at least a 2.0 grade point average. Selection is based on sporting excellence. As a general rule, recipients of the scholarships are athletes competing at a national or state championship level who are recognised by the relevant national sporting body as elite or are members of a national development squad.
| Amount | $3,000 The scholarships is valued at up to $3,000 per year for Elite (national) athletes and Emerging Athletes. recipients also receive: academic counselling and liaison; personal development seminars and tutorials; access to sport and recreation facilities; careers counselling and personal mentoring, access to Career Success development Program and MQ Sport Alumni program. |
