Macquarie University Dunmore Lang College Regional and Rural Scholarship

Macquarie University

The scholarship was created in recognition of the initial and ongoing costs for a student relocating from regional and rural Australia to study at Macquarie University. Recipients of the RNR Scholarship also receive other forms of support.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be domestic students relocating from regional or rural Australia to study at Macquarie University; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate the capacity to triumph over hardship; demonstrate leadership or community involvement or potential; be new domestic students to Macquarie University; and not have previously studied at university.

Amount $20,010

Scholarship recipients will receive fully funded standard room in Dunmore Lang College valued at $15,000 per year. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years, subject to the recipient continuing to meet eligibility criteria.
