The purpose of the scholarship is to assist students whose opportunities to study at university may have been hampered by disadvantages beyond their control.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Australia; be full-time undergraduate students who can demonstrate an ability to triumph over hardship (e.g. financial disadvantage; non-English speaking or Indigenous background; carer responsibilities; geographic disadvantage; long term medical condition; or on-going effects of abuse); and be enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place. The scholarships are available for any undergraduate degree and students can apply at any stage of their degree.
