Exercise scientists work with an extensive range of people. These include elite athletes looking to take their performance to greater heights, those whove sustained a physical injury, workplace health and safety practitioners, and medical and allied health professionals. They work in private practice, hospitals, gyms, aged care, government agencies or for sports teams. The Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science combines practitioner-led in-class instruction with professional and practical experience via hands-on learning and placements. Youll study anatomy; biomechanics; exercise physiology; human growth, development and ageing; motor learning and control; performance analysis; and strength and conditioning.
