Environmental planning is concerned with protecting natural ecosystems and biodiversity; enhancing air, land and water quality, promoting sustainable urban and regional development; maintaining effective resource management and integrated land use; and minimising the impact of natural hazards. The Graduate Certificate of Environmental Planning will provide you with the policy and legal foundations of planning practice in New South Wales, with a particular emphasis on the environmental and social dimensions of planning.
