E-business is the application of information technology (IT) to support the processes of business over the internet. In this rapidly growing area there is a high demand for professionals with a thorough knowledge of the underlying technology and practices. To meet this demand, this interdisciplinary degree covers the areas of IT (information systems, databases, web technology, networks) and business (accounting, economics, marketing). The degree is designed so that graduates will have the necessary IT skills for e-business along with the necessary supporting skills from business and media.
