This program allows students to combine the benefits of a business degree with sought-after psychological skills through our Bachelor of Commerce with the degree of Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). Graduates are sought after by industry thanks to their understanding of business functions, strategy and skills across all industries. The program equips students with a wide range of fundamental psychological concepts in addition to comprehensive business skills and knowledge. Progression to honours is completed in the fifth year, subject to a specified level of high achievement. Thereafter students can proceed to postgraduate training in psychology towards registration as a psychologist.

Further information

In order to pursue a pathway to registration as a psychologist, progression to Honours in psychology is subject to achieving entry requirements. Should these criteria not be achieved, the student will graduate after 4 years with Bachelor of Commerce with the degree Bachelor of Arts - Psychology. After psychology Honours, a further two years postgraduate training or supervised experience is required for registration as a psychologist. Candidates who wish to continue with higher research degree are admitted to the 2nd year of the Master of Research program upon completion of psychology honours.
