2024 Indigenous Phd Scholarship: School Of Psychology And Public Health

Professor Monica Thielking has taken up the role as Dean - School of Psychology and Public Health at La Trobe University in 2024. Aligned with her commitment to leading initiatives to improve access to higher education for Indigenous students, her appointment includes a graduate research degree scholarship for an Indigenous student wishing to conduct research on a topic related to the disciplines of psychology and/or public health at PhD or Masters by research level. The scholarship package includes a Research Training Program scholarship and additional Dennis McDermott Research Scholarship providing a stipend top-up and research support allowance. The total stipend value is with a stipend value $44,000 per annum (2024 full-time rate). Applicants must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident and of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin to be eligible to apply.
