The Master of Professional Accounting is an internationally recognised qualification and currently the fastest way to fulfil the requirements for CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles while improving their critical thinking and analytical skills. The program will also hone expertise in general management and corporate governance, and strengthen students' ability to evaluate contemporary accounting and business issues in a corporate environment. Standard entry requirements
- A Bachelor Degree (or AQF Level 7 equivalent course) OR
- An Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree (or AQF Level 6 equivalent course) plus evidence of a minimum of two years
Recognition
All Bachelor and postgraduate accounting programmes are outcomes-focused and accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and Certified Practicing Accountants Australia (CPA).
Study pathways
Graduates are eligible for admission into professional programs offered by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and CPA Australia. Graduates may also apply for credit entry into the Kaplan Business School's Master of Business Administration or a related graduate degree at another Australian higher education provider.
