Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (CHC43215)
The total program is delivered over 12 months. This qualification reflects the role of workers within an alcohol and other drug setting who deliver person-centered services to individuals and/or groups. Workers may provide support, advocacy or interventions to individual clients, groups or communities across a range of services. At this level, workers may be autonomous with limited responsibility within established parameters and may be required to supervise and lead other workers in projects or teams. Work may take place in a range of community service, case work or case management contexts.

Entry requirements
- There are no prerequisites for this course. However, it is recommended that you have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course or are mature age and have sufficient work experience to successfully undertake the course. Applications from mature-aged students with work experience in a related field are encouraged. Our course delivery features a combination of on-campus and remote (online) learning, therefore we recommend a suitable portable device (i.e. laptop computer) and stable internet connection for all students undertaking the course.
