John and Janice King Bursary

James Cook University (JCU)

This bursary was established in 2008 with a donation from John and Janice King. This scholarship is subject to the provisions of the James Cook University Coursework Scholarships, Bursaries and Grants Policy.

Eligibility

Applicants must: I am a Papua New Guinean citizen and hold a student visa and; I am or will be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate course (including research) in the year of awarding and; My course is offered by JCUs College of Medicine and Dentistry, College of Healthcare Sciences or College of Public Health, Medical and Veterinary Sciences.

Amount $6,000

If you are a successful applicant of this scholarship you will receive $6,000 paid in two equal instalments after census date of SP1 and SP2 for the duration of your degree provided you meet the on-going eligibility criteria. Please allow up to 6 weeks after census date for payment.
