Inclusion Works Indigenous Bursary

On the closure of INCLUSION WORKS, the board determined that JCU Social Science students would be the recipient of the unspent funds of the organisation to be used as Prizes and Bursaries. This Bursary is part of that gift and is to promote community inclusion excellence by supporting participation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students in social work field education. Three bursaries will be awarded annually.

Eligibility

I am registered with JCU as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; I am an Australian citizen; I am enrolled in Bachelor of Social Work (full time or part time); Have completed 48 credit points of study by the time of application closing date.

Amount $2,000

If you are a successful applicant of this scholarship you will receive $2,000 paid in a single instalment after census date of Study Period 2. Please allow up to 6 weeks after census date for payment. There will be 3 awards available per year.
