AECOM's Dr Jonathan Harris Undergraduate Scholarship

This annual scholarship is a legacy to AECOM’s colleague, the late Dr Jonathan Harris. The aim of the scholarship is to support the academic development and achievement of undergraduate engineers at James Cook University.

Eligibility

Are an Australian citizen or Australian permanent visa holder; Are studying a Bachelor of Engineering or Dual Degree program with a focus in Civil, Mechanical and /or Electrical Engineering at the JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus; Are in your 2nd or 3rd year and have completed a minimum of 48 credit points; Are enrolled full-time (min 9 credit points per study period); Have a minimum GPA of 5.0 at the time of application; Are prepared to undertake at least 10 weeks of paid work experience with AECOM; Are prepared to write a 1-2 page report annually to include photo's, highlight from studies and interesting placement activities undertaken.

Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at $5,000 per year for up to 2 years plus paid work experience with AECOM.
