Learn how to assess clients, communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, plan and implement nursing interventions, and manage and evaluate nursing care in this professionally-accredited degree. Study pathways
Applicants with TAFE diplomas in nursing can apply for credit but must also provide evidence of registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Honours is offered to students who meet the stated criteria, available on a full- or part-time basis.

Further information
The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia requires all applicants seeking initial admission to the Nursing Register upon graduation from their nursing course to demonstrate the necessary English language skills. If students identify as Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, JCU can provide assistance through the Indigenous Health Careers Access Program (IHCAP). International student visa-holders must not enrol in more than a third of the total credit points for the course in online, distance or external study.
