Entry Requirements:

Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related discipline such as behavioural science, counselling, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology or social work; or hold the Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Flinders University or equivalent qualification.


This is a 72 unit program where students complete eleven core (compulsory) topics and two option topics selected from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to provide students clinical and research opportunities in the field of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapies for high prevalence psychological disorders. Students will undertake supervised practicums that offer structured and integrated learning opportunities for advanced skills development.

The course articulates with the 36-unit Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. A student who has completed the Graduate Diploma may be granted credit if admitted into the Master of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy award.
