Structure

Students complete three core (compulsory) topics, option topics and either one or two minors chosen from various study areas including Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice.; Educational Design and Digital Learning.; Inclusive Education.; and Languages Education.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification or hold a Graduate Certificate in Education or closely related qualification.

Recognition

Graduates will not be eligible for teacher registration. Please see the Master of Teaching suite to undertake a postgraduate teaching qualification that leads to teacher registration.

The University may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, consider applicants who do not hold a bachelor degree or equivalent but can demonstrate relevant higher education study with relevant work experience, or relevant work experience which may meet the requirements for entry into the course.
