Structure
The first 2 years include biochemistry, physiology and general nutrition topics and the last 2 years focus on dietetics and research methods. These are applied to the study of clinical and public health nutrition, health promotion and food choice. There is a strong emphasis on practical experiences in hospital, public health, community and research settings, which are supervised by accredited practising dietitians. Final year: a placement of 21 weeks will be undertaken in clinical, community and food service settings.
