Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - General Entry

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - General Entry Pathway is an entry point to the University's other Bachelor of Engineering courses. Students complete three semesters of study in this course before transferring to the second year of any named Flinders Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) award. To graduate thus requires a total of four and a half years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course is offered by the College of Science and Engineering.

Structure

This course has standard engineering topics including studies in electronics, engineering design, professional skills, engineering programming, engineering physics and materials, engineering mechanics, and more mathematics. Prerequisites: SACE stage two general mathematics or SACE stage one mathematics

Entry requirements

  • This course can be applied for using Year 12, TAFE qualifications, the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT), the Flinders Foundation Studies Program and Tertiary Transfer.
