This short course provides the skills and knowledge to work as a swim teacher across a range of swimming and water safety contexts. The course is delivered over two days plus six hours of placement where you will learn how to instruct and teach water familiarisation, buoyancy and mobility skills, as well as swimming and survival strokes to a range of clients with varying abilities.

Standard entry requirements

Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3, for both literacy and numeracy, Complete a pre-training assessment for language, literacy and numeracy skills.
