Prepare to teach in either primary or secondary schools with the Bachelor of Primary Education and Master of Secondary Teaching dual degree. This unique course will give you the flexibility to move between primary and secondary settings as your teaching career progresses without having to gain any other qualifications.This degree can be studied online or on campus, part-time or full-time. You can complete this course in as little as 4.5 years (or 4 years, depending on the subjects you choose), which is almost the same time it takes to complete a single undergraduate teaching degree.You'll graduate qualified to register as a primary and secondary teacher anywhere in Australia. During the course, you will apply your learning with professional experience in classrooms close to home or in unique placements in remote locations across the Northern Territory. Standard entry requirements

Admission requirements are met by one of the following:Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognized tertiary preparation course.Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.Defense members with service of 1 year or more at the following ranks (or higher) meet the academic entry requirement for this course:Navy: Seaman, Able Seaman, Leading SeamanAir Force: Aircraftmen/Aircraftwoman, Leading Aircraftman/Aircraftwoman, CorporalArmy: Private, Lance Corporal, Corporal* After any applicable adjustment factors have been applied.
