Standard entry requirements
A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5/7.
Study pathways
Applicants with a Bachelor degree in a cognate discipline may be eligible for up to 24 units of credit. Applicants with a Graduate Diploma or Honours in a cognate discipline may be eligible for up to 48 units of credit. Credit may also be available for relevant work experience. Cognate disciplines are: Anthropology, Economics, Development Studies, Biodiversity Conservation, Geography, Human Ecology, Policy Studies, Population Studies, Resource Management and Environmental Science, Sociology, Sustainability Science, and Sustainable Development.

Students must complete the pre-sessional component to continue to the initial component. Students must achieve a minimum 65% weighted average mark in the initial component to continue to the concluding component.
