Certificate II in Community Services


This qualification is part of the Community Services Training Package. It may be used as a pathway for workforce entry as community services workers who provide a first point of contact and assist individuals in meeting their immediate needs. At this level, work takes place under direct, regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines.

9 units: 5 core; 4 elective

Electives: Identify and respond to children and young people at risk; Attend to daily functions in home based child care; Promote and provide healthy food and drinks; Ensure the health and safety of children; plus more.
