The Master of Project Management explores how efficient management can provide organisations with improved ability to plan, implement and control their business activities. This course provides comprehensive project management skills and capabilities on the full project lifecycle; from project initiation, planning, execution to project closing, and teaches strategies for dealing with a broad range of issues encountered within business organisations. The growth of new forms of technology in project management has prompted organisations to look for skilled project managers who can enhance the performance of their businesses.

Entry Requirements:

A recognised Bachelors degree in a major related to Commerce, Engineering, Maths or IT with an average mark of 50%.


The Master of Project Management comprises of 12 subjects, including 9 core subjects, 1 capstone research project, plus two electives chosen from business related subjects as approved by the Program Director.

Applicants may be eligible for advanced standing on successful completion of a recognised Bachelors degree with a major in Project Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related area - 24 credit points (4 core subjects); a Master of International Business - 30 credit points - (5 subjects); Master of Business (any major) - up to 36 credit points (6 subjects) dependent upon subject selection.
