This program is the professional degree in Architecture accredited in Australia by the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA) and the Architects Registration Board of Western Australia. Students have the opportunity to choose a pathway of units from the critical studies, technical studies and design streams to increase their knowledge in specialised areas of architecture. The degree is validated internationally by the Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) and through the Canberra Accords, by other international registration agencies. It comprises a core program in design, technology and professional practice.

Entry Requirements:

UWA Bachelor degree majoring in Architecture and Integrated Design or equivalent bachelor degree or qualification, as recognised by UWA. In addition to the Bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification, a minimum weighted average mark of at least 60% or equivalent as recognised by UWA

Structure:

The course consists of units to a total value of 168 points (maximum value) which include conversion units to a value of 72 points. Students who have completed a Bachelor of Design with majors in Architecture and Integrated Design, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty, are granted credit for conversion units up to a value of 72 points.
