The IELTS course prepares students for the IELTS examination, an internationally recognised test of English language proficiency. The IELTS tests General or Academic listening, reading, speaking and writing skills. The Academic module is recognised as providing evidence of English language proficiency by educational institutions world-wide.

The IELTS preparation course is taught as a skills workshop in combination with General or Academic English. In addition, 3 full-time intensive 5 week courses are run each year commencing in January, June and November. IELTS preparation is also available for part-time studies as a four-week evening course; and intensive one week course.
