Graduate Certificate in Social Impact

University of Western Australia, The (UWA)

This program provides students with a cross-sectoral perspective, enabling them to understand, think strategically and implement programs and ideas across sectors and silos to drive meaningful and sustainable change. An understanding of the new social impact, business and measurement models has assisted students to return to their workplaces, businesses and organisations and make an immediate positive impact in their professional capacities. The program is designed for anyone who has ever thought: Too many people are experiencing hardship, when we live in such a lucky country; Government, individuals, philanthropists, non-profits and business can achieve more by working together; We need sustainable and innovative approaches to funding programs that make a real difference in peoples lives; Business has an increasingly important role in developing social capital and environmental stewardship; Impact Investing (for a financial and a social return) sounds like a really good idea.
