In this program students study the foundations of accounting, economics, management and marketing. They will gain knowledge to plan and manage the co-ordination of resources within and across business functions; effectively participate in and contribute to business projects; and to analyse and solve business problems as they arise. This course is designed for students with a non-business background and can serve as an entry point into the Master of Commerce (subject to students achieving a weighted average mark of at least 65%).

Bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; or at least eight years of relevant, documented, professional experience considered by UWA (following an interview and assessment process by the Faculty) to be sufficient to permit satisfactory completion of the course


The Graduate Certificate in Commerce comprises four units in accounting, economics, management and marketing.
