he Bachelor of General Studies is a flexible, interdisciplinary degree that allows students to design their own course by choosing a combination of units based upon personal preference and career goals. It allows students to try university study in an area of interest before selecting a combination of units within the Bachelor of General Studies, and/or to acquire prerequisite knowledge before articulating into another degree. The Bachelor of General Studies is also suitable for students seeking a supported introduction to university study. The first year of study provides academic foundation knowledge and skills and achievement at introductory level in at least two units. Students who meet the entry requirements for other Bachelor degrees can commence in the second year of the four year Bachelor of General Studies degree.
