This degree introduces you to the rewarding profession of architecture. Career opportunities: Occupational therapists (OTs) work with people who may have a permanent or temporary disruption to their lives, or may be at risk of developing problems with their daily activities. OTs also work closely with families, carers, governments and private industry. They work in many areas including hospitals, community centres, schools, private practice, private industry and work rehabilitation, and are usually part of a team of professionals. Many graduates take up positions in the UK, USA and Canada. Practical experience: 1,000 hours of clinical placement in hospitals, community centres and specialist practices over the four-year program. Placements occur each year, with longer placements in senior years. Placements may occur in holiday periods. At least one placement will take place outside of Sydney. Students will be responsible for costs, including accommodation and travel.
