This program provides students with the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills required to become a successful project manager, while also developing an understanding of the broader management context, better preparing them for senior management roles. Graduates will receive a separate testamur for each degree.

Entry Requirements:

Australian university Bachelor degree in the area of business and a minimum of two years' professional work experience in business, or equivalent. OR Bachelor degree or equivalent (AQF level 7) in a non-related discipline from a recognised institution, two years' professional work experience in business and USQ's Graduate Certificate of Business. AND English Language Proficiency requirements for Category 3.


16 units: 8 Master of Business Administration courses; 7 Master of Project Management courses; 1 capstone course.

Not all specialisation courses are available at Springfield campus. There are limited courses available in semester 3.


USQ is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Completion of project management courses and programs at USQ earns professional development units (PDUs) as evidence of professional development and credit towards PMIs Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program. PMI, PMP and Project Management Professional (PMP) are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
