This program provides practicing coaches with the opportunity to enhance and develop quality in their professional practice and prepare them for the world of high performance coaching. Students will engage in work-based learning experiences that promote and encourage analysis and critical reflection on current coaching practices and contexts. They will develop expertise and knowledge in leadership, management and relationship building, as well as gain an understanding of the fundamental principles of science and practice which will serve as a theoretical backdrop for professional practice.

24 units: A graduate certificate in sports coaching from this university; OR an approved degree in the same discipline; 16 units: Bachelor degree or approved in sports coaching

Further information:

The Sports Coaching field is not available to international students who wish to study onshore in Australia. It can only be studied offshore through distance mode and students therefore do not need to apply for a visa. All the Sports Coaching courses are offered in external mode and require internet access.
