The Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (CAS) are available to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students to assist with the high costs of relocating to undertake higher education.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander of low socio-economic status; be commencing or undertaking a tertiary preparation program, associate degree, or undergraduate program as full-time Commonwealth supported students; be from a rural or regional area; and have not previously completed a bachelor degree or equivalent (except where it is an entry requirement for the current course). Tenure is dependent on satisfactory progress.

Amount | $9,000 The scholarship is valued at $9,000 per year (pro-rata for part-time and fast-tracking) for the duration of the degree admitted enrolled in at time of application. Payable in Trimester 1, Trimester 2 and Trimester 3. |
