To qualify for the award candidates admitted under rule (g) shall pass units to the value of 72 credit points at 500-level, as specified in Schedule C.

Standard entry requirements
Rule A: You have completed a four-year pre-service teaching qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent). If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule A. Please see the Rule A Course Structures (Programs of Study). Rule B: You have completed a Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7) and a one or two-year pre-service teaching qualification (AQF Level 8 or 9) or overseas equivalent. If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule B. Please see the Rule B Course Structures (Programs of Study).
Study pathways
Students may be eligible for credit (advanced standing) for previously completed studies. Exit pathways are available for eligible students.

Further information
Students undertaking the Special Education and TESOL specialisations will be required to meet requirements for professional experience in an educational setting.This will include a Working with Children Check, completion of online Anaphylaxis training and a Child Protection module.
