Structure

Note for students contemplating studying Master of Planning and Management of Natural Hazards: Candidates intending to progress to the Master of Planning and Management of Natural Hazards should include at least one 6 credit point 500 level Listed Unit.To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 48 credit points, including a minimum of 30 credit points at 400 level, a maximum of 12 credit points at 300 level and a maximum of 18 credit points at 500 level.

Standard entry requirements

  • (a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree from a recognised university in a related field of study, for example, Urban and Regional Planning, Geography or Environmental Science
  • Or(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Planning and Management of Natural Hazards from UNE.
