The Rehabilitation Science program is for physiotherapists, exercise scientists, occupational therapists, nurses and other qualified allied health professionals who want to become experts in rehabilitation and health promotion to help rehabilitate people recovering from injury and illness. The emphasis in this course is on promoting contemporary best practice rehabilitation in multiple clinical and community contexts in both national and global settings. This course will build on students' knowledge and skills to identify and analyse the multiple determinants of health that influence wellbeing, and to design and implement rehabilitation strategies in a holistic, person-centred manner at both an individual and group level. The course is delivered 100% online, giving students the flexibility to study around other commitments.
Structure
50 points comprising two core subjects and two elective subjects, 12.5 points each, completed online over six months full time or one year part time.

Standard entry requirements
- Undergraduate degree in physiotherapy, medicine, exercise science, occupational therapy, podiatry, nursing or another relevant discipline
- At least two years' documented, relevant professional work experience.
