This program seeks to develop knowledge and skills for the professional practice of language teaching. It will promote understanding of teaching methodology and a range of other areas of knowledge, including linguistics, first and second language acquisition, the value of technology in language education, and the social and institutional contexts of language teaching. An essential part of the course is the requirement to undertake observation of classrooms and engage in some form of teaching experience.
