Graduate Certificate in Statistics

The Graduate Certificate in Statistics is designed for graduates who have not previously studied Statistics extensively at tertiary level and who wish to upgrade their skills in this area. On successful completion of the course, students will have the skills to apply basic statistical procedures in the workplace with confidence and understanding. Topics covered include survey design and analysis and multivariate statistics. Students can also choose from a variety of professional electives including nonparametric statistics, business decision models, or a statistical analysis project. Students can choose to focus on application in a variety of areas, for example Bioinformatics, Decision Making or Applications.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent as approved by the University; Mathematics to at least Year 12 level
