This unique course will give students a strong working knowledge of sports management theory and practice and combine these with the key elements of events and tourism management to create a highly engaging and challenging career pathway. Students will learn how to create, produce, promote and manage world class events covering sports, festivals, conventions, meetings and community activities. The course will also give students unprecedented access to leaders in sport, industry experts and multiple opportunities so they can gain valuable hands on experience through placement opportunities at some of Australia's leading sports and event management companies.

Year 12 or equivalent. English Language Requirements: An overall Academic IELTS of 6.0 or equivalent, with no band score below 6.0. Assumed Knowledge: ACT: Mathematics (T) and English (T); NSW: Mathematics and English Advanced.

Further information:

Structured work experience is a requirement of this course and is provided through individual or group placements with sports organisations as part of the requirements of individual units. Students will be required to complete AFP police checks.
