The University of Adelaide College

The General Academic English program (GAE) is designed to develop students' English language skills in preparation for successful entry into their mainstream academic program of study. The College's English language program concentrates on developing the skills they will need to become a successful and confident language user. Emphasis is placed on improving their general language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will study a variety of topics which are interesting and fun, and relevant to students studying in Australia.
