This course is designed to provide individuals with the language skills and cultural knowledge to communicate in social and workplace situations in a language other than English (LOTE), both in Australia and overseas. Graduates will be able to conduct a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and basic matters. The course applies to all LOTEs; the precise language to be acquired will depend on student demand at the time of provision.
