This program is suited to students interested in completing a PhD who need to complete the necessary research training and experience that the completion of an Honours degree provides. Students undertake study in a discipline area and research methods before completing a research dissertation.

Entry Requirements:

A completed recognised Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree (Coursework) (or qualifications deemed equivalent) with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) score of 5.5 or better (on QUT's 7 point scale). This qualification must include a major in the area of intended study.


The course is 96 credit points in total, which includes a 48 credit point dissertation.
