The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration is one of the courses offered in the MBA suite. This course is effectively one-third of the Digital MBA program and allows professionals to gain knowledge and skills to lead future-focused organisations in the digital age.
Structure
The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration - Digital is 48 credit points comprised of 36 credit points of thematic units and 12 credit points of a Work Integrated Learning project.
Standard entry requirements
A completed recognised Bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA 4.5) or greater (on QUT's 7 point scale). Have a minimum 3 years full-time post degree work experience, with a minimum of 2 years relevant professional work experience and 1 year minimum supervisory/management experience. Complete 4 mandatory reflective questions and attend an online interview with the MBA Program Manager. Applicants who do not meet the minimum entry of an undergraduate degree with GPA 4.5, may be required to attend an interview with the MBA Director. Applicants without a Bachelor degree may be admitted with a minimum of 7 years work experience (6 years minimum equivalent professional work experience, plus 1 year minimum supervisory/management experience) and may later articulate into the MBA program under existing articulation rules (i.e. achievement of a GPA of 4.5 or greater).
Study pathways
Articulation into Master of Business Administration - Digital, may be possible after successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration - Digital.
