Quality Training in Construction

This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It provides a trade outcome in roof tiling for residential and commercial construction work.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education

Structure:

17 units: 14 core; 3 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry; Conduct workplace communication; Carry out measurements and calculations; Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding; Carry out WHS requirements; plus more. Electives: Handle roof tiling materials; Use roof tiling tools and equipment; Tile regular roofs; Tile irregular roofs; Repair and renovate tile roofs; plus more.

Further information:

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (SAC 2006) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
