The Bachelor of Behavioural Studies is structured to enable students to acquire knowledge and skills across a variety of study areas. This breadth of knowledge is complemented by focusing the content so that students who complete the course are better equipped to understand and explain human behaviour. This degree is structured differently to the Bachelor of Behavioural Studies (Psychology) and as such does not have emphasis on advanced statistical studies, laboratory assessments and report writing. The Psychological Studies major in this course offers a broad introduction to basic psychological elements and concepts. Students can include a Co-major in Sociology or Minor specialisations in the areas of Statistics, Sociology, Human Resource Management, Public Relations, Indigenous Studies, Marketing and Criminology.

24 units: At least 8 units must be Swinburne University of Technology units; 12 Psychological Studies Major core units and 12 electives; or 1 Co-major sequence of 8 units plus 4 electives or 2 minor sequences of 4 units (8 in total), plus 4 electives or 1 minor sequence of 4 units plus 8 electives.
