The Master of Biomedical and Health Science is a coursework degree to be undertaken in key research areas in the Biomedical and Psychological Sciences in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

Entry Requirements:

Entry level 1: 96 points - Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Biomedical Science or Science with at least 60% average, or qualification/experience or satisfactory substitute deemed equivalent. Entry level 2: 72 points - Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including Biomedical Science or Science with at least 70% average, or qualification/ experience or satisfactory substitute deemed equivalent. Entry level 3: 72 points - Australian undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) with at least 60% average, or qualification/ experience or satisfactory substitute deemed equivalent and a certificate or diploma in a cognate area of Biomedical Science or Science. Entry level 4: 48 points - Australian undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) with at least 70% average in a cognate area of Biomedical Science or Science, or qualification/ experience or satisfactory substitute deemed equivalent.

Structure:

Candidates undertake an initial year of intensive training in how to conduct research, by studying coursework units in pedagogical and research skills training and engaging in specialist research in theory units (Volumes 1 and 3), followed by a second year of a full-time research project (Volume 2) under the direct supervision of a member of the academic staff of Monash University.
