Certificate II in Floristry - Assistant

This qualification is part of the Floristry Training Package. It reflects the role of individuals who use a defined and limited range of basic floristry technical skills to assemble fundamental floristry products to pre-determined designs and job specifications. These individuals are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks using limited practical skills and basic floristry industry knowledge. They work under direct supervision. It provides a pathway to work in a diversity of floristry industry business types including retail floristry shops, studios and online floristry businesses.

Course Fee:

Australian: $5,500

Entry Requirements:

Year 10 or equivalent. Must be employed in the industry and register with an Australian Apprenticeship Centre prior to enrolment.

Structure:

12 units: 9 core; 3 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Maintain floristry tools and equipment; Source information on floristry products and services; Recognise flower and plant materials; Receive and store floristry stock; Prepare and care for floristry stock; Work effectively in the floristry industry; Interact with floristry customers; Participate in safe work practices; Assemble floristry products. Plus electives.
