Accounting is often referred to as the language of business. Understanding this language means accountants hold the privileged position of being key contributors to a business' success. Armed with such skills, accountants can apply their knowledge in a number of dynamic industries. This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills that professional accountants need in order to succeed in an increasingly dynamic and global accounting environment, and will help them meet the requirements for professional accreditation in accounting. Students will be challenged with case studies, real business problems and group projects. It is distinguished from the Master of Accounting by four advanced units in areas such as management, strategy, leadership, entrepreneurship, project management, economics and finance, as well as the opportunity to complete an internship.
