The Diploma of Accounting, Commerce and Business Administration is designed as an introduction to the fundamental knowledge and concepts of finance, accounting, marketing, economics, business statistics and management. The diploma is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree, and prepares students for entry into the second year of a bachelor degree within the Faculty of Business and Economics. Teaching and learning activities focus on assisting students acquire academic knowledge and the study skills needed to succeed in higher education in Australia. English language skills are integrated into the academic subjects to assist students increase their confidence and competence.
